As the world’s largest manufacturer of automotive sunroofs, we needed to be close to the new auto assembly plants in the Mid- and Deep South. We chose Kentucky because Kentucky didn’t roll out the red tape. They rolled out the red carpet.

Yes, Kentucky is blessed with a great central location and low logistics cost. But more than that, the Cabinet for Economic Development helped us with site selection, provided workforce training, eased the permitting process, and offered us incentives second to none.

We’ve found Cabinet representatives to be consistently responsive and professional, and we know we can just pick up the phone and get the ball rolling.

Today we have an $80 million investment in Kentucky, which includes three facilities employing 574 people. In five years our market share climbed from 32 percent to 47 percent, and we’ve gone from selling 800,000 sunroofs a year to over 2 million.

In Kentucky, the sky’s the limit.
