“We’ve done well in recent years, and one reason is the Kentucky Cabinet for Economic Development.”
Our company, based in Richmond, Ky., has just 39 employees but serves nearly all the top 100 U.S.
industrial firms. Lectrodryer’s equipment removes water and other impurities from air, gases and liquids in
just about every process imaginable. We occupy an important niche, because very few companies do what we do.
The power industry is our biggest market sector, but we also work in chemicals, pharmaceuticals, general
industry, and government. One project had us working with NASA on a wind tunnel, duplicating high-altitude,
dry air. In another project we worked with Goodyear to help them counteract the moisture permeability of
their famous blimp. We’ve worked with the U.S. Mint to help brighten the finish of the new quarters. We’re
involved with paint solvent recyclers, oil refineries, chemical processing plants and more.
Despite a challenging business climate, Lectrodryer has done well in recent years. One reason is the
Kentucky Cabinet for Economic Development.
Lectrodryer has worked extensively with the Cabinet, particularly its Mexico City and Brussels trade
offices, over the past four or five years. The Cabinet’s professional staff people have helped us
expand our global reach through market research, state-run trade shows, translations and other
services. They’ve assisted us in making valuable business connections internationally. The Cabinet is
clearly an asset to us.
